Printed jute hessian burlap is manufactured to meet the demands of more ingenious designers whose creations, especially bags, play on distinctive, ethnic materials sourced from different parts of the world.  Jute is associated with Asian culture.

However, jute hessian burlap with coarse texture is rarely used for apparel.  In some areas, braiden burlap is a favorite as festival costume material or accessory.
